You’ve Been Gok-ed!

Well, not literally. I can’t imagine anything worse than standing in front of a mirror, in the altogether with Gok going on about my bangers. Oh well. One thing I can praise Gok for is his underwear line for Simply Yours. It’s bloody gorgeous. Now underwear for the, ahem, larger lady can be problematic. No support, looks like a parachute ( hold on a second – it is a parachute!) , just plain dowdy. Gok seems to have saved his underwear line from going down a similar route. Now, as always with these ‘celebrity’ designed products, we, the consumer are not sure how much work the celebrity actually put into designing the line but what the heck, whoever designed these knickers did a good job.

Simply Yours offered to send me an underwear set of my choosing and I hit on the Gok stuff faster than Grease Lightning. And it arrived on my birthday, great pressie don’t you think?

Now unfortunately, I’m not going to prance around in my knickers on this blog ( don’t be too upset), but here’s a few of my photos:

As you can see, the set is in the fab retro longline/high waist style that is really fashionable at the moment ( 1 point to GW) and in my favourite print of all time – leopard ( 5000 plus points to GW). The first thing I noticed was the luxury feel to these items, they come with a heavy card label and a nice heavy weight lable inside.

The bra is really comfortable on and looks great – the straps are removable and the bra comes with a small bag containing spare clear bra straps, in case you fancy a change – I for one, don’t like clear straps and would prefer to show a coloured strap but I know some women use them all the time.

The knickers are mega high waisted, I love knickers like this. Big Bridget Jones pants, I know others might prefer little skimpy items but I like a bit of security in my underwear! I never wear suspenders but I may be tempted to give them a go. These suspender straps are removable so you don’t have to keep the underwear for more, ahem, special occasions….

While the items are quite expensive (£32 for the bra and £18 for the knickers), I would say that they’re worth it. The items are true to size and I just bought my regular sizes and they fit great, both knickers and bra look good on and feel good on and what woman doesn’t like that feeling?? The Gok range also offers some gorgeous basques and slips which, looking back at now, I may be tempted to place an order…really sexy lingerie for bigger sizes; payday couldn’t come quick enough! I’ve never bought underwear from Simply Yours before, but having big boobs, I would definitely give it a go when I’m on the hunt for more bras!
